ENTROPIA UNIVERSE WITHDRAWAL

First of all you, have to know that i have managed to withdraw 4 times since i play to EU

1. 2022 – 1000 Peds (resulted in 79,46€)
2. 2022 – 3000 Peds (resulted in 262,72€)
3. 2022 – 4000 Peds (resulted in 369,56€)
4. 2023 – 2000 Peds (resulted in 173,94€)

And i guess you would think that i did Profit from EU ? of course not ! 😅

I am at the moment (December 2023) at :

• A Loss of -1717€.
• And if i convert that to a Monthly cost since i play, it's like EU cost me 54€ / month.

But it's not a problem as i have accepted the fact that EU is a Casino, and that “House always wins“. Still i also decided to stop deposits… since i have stopped receiving HOFS 😁 No Seriously… I used to get 1 nice HOF every month, and then since Fall 2022 it stopped… So my motivation to deposit more stopped as well 😏

Now i think i already asked this question at the very beginning of this guide…

Why Entropia Universe and not another Mmorpg ?

If you have read the previous chapters, you now know very well it's all about…

1. Real Life Money
2. Gambling Addiction
3. Ability to Withdraw

If there was no Real Life money involved, if there was no Carrot to give us false hope and make us addicted like in a Casino, and if we couldn't withdraw our hard-earned invested money… We would all be playing to something else ! Unless a player is completely degenerate, he wouldn't be playing to EU if it wasn't for all of these. Because without these 3 key factors, EU would be long dead against the fierce Mmorpg competition.

I even created a poll on the official forum, it was a while back in 2021 asking the players for their core motivation to play EU, and i got more funny than honest answers 😅

• Addiction, probably
• because this game is unique

Funny answers :

• To make more Friends 🤣
• The great people i have met 🤣
• virtual universe filled with hope, friendship 🤣

If there is one place in reality or in virtuality where you don't want to make friends, that's where there is money involved. Friends are made in FUN places, and EU could be and even SHOULD BE a FUN place ! Unfortunately behind EU you have MindArk, a company managed like the dark side of a Casino. You can't withdraw your gains just like that… and when bad things happen, don't ask questions… Just turn a Blind eye or fear for your account !

That's why there are so many “YES MEN” on the official forum of EU. You will recognize them easily… As soon as you question or criticize MindArk, they will be the first to come and defend this lovely company, to say how helpful is their support and again to express how happy they are with how EU is now managed.

These people are most of the time brainwashed, and scared for their avatar ! Because they have invested so much time or money (or both), that they have gone too far to “go back“. The damage to their life would be too heavy to bear… So the only choice for their mind is to accept the consequences and hope for a better future 😍 Which will never happen even with Unreal Engine, but hope (even false one) has always been the engine of life so…

The Ugly Truth is Most people are SCARED to withdraw as there is a Trust issue with MindArk.

A guy who have 4 shops withdrew for the first time 😮

It's really scary for a casual player like me to see that there are players investing a lot of money, because shops sells for thousands of dollars, and only attempting their very first withdrawal years later ! to “try to see if it also works the other way…“. That sentence alone tells a lot about “Addiction”, “Fear” and “Stupidity”… Who in Real Life would invest that much money, and only care about withdrawing years later hoping that it's going to work ?!?

And i loved the “only making a very insignificant withdraw” 😅 like if it was to apologize in advance for the Heresy of withdrawing money ! I am sorry MindArk for taking 0.1% of my money back, please grant me my request 🤣

In the previous part i was speaking about players with LOW IQ… do you understand now what i meant ?

Plays since 2005 and only realized in 2022 he could withdraw…

I didn't put any smiley this time because to read such a sentence is very… SAD ! I am sad for this person that it took him 17 years to realize it. He officially attempted… Do you read this clearly ? It was an Attempt ! And it says a lot about the Trust issue players have with MindArk. In Eu we don't just withdraw our money, we Attempt to Withdraw ! There is no guarantee that it will work… That's the reality of things going on in the head of most EU players !

And we could also add to the mix that if someone complains, there will always be a “YES MAN” on the forum saying “you should have read the EULA“. Again the kind of player who will always accept everything done by MindArk.

Withdrawing after 18 years, let's see how it goes… 🤣

I am just going to repeat what this guy with less than 3000 posts on the forum said… “I am playing since 2006 at the very least, and i have just done my very first withdrawal just to see how it goes“. Veterans of EU, you all complain about the lack of players retention on EU, and that new players don't stay long enough…

How the fuck do you want new players to stay on EU when they'll see this kind of post ?

I would be a new player seeing that, i would close the window right away !

Are you serious ? A place like MindArk where it takes 2 months to withdraw, and where everyone is scared to do it is for you a “Better place” than a real life bank ?

I don't know what these people who said that are smoking… But it seems to be strong stuff !

Only message that these posts are conveying to the people outside EU is… Stay Away while you still can !

I don't know for you guys, but when i am going to my bank there is not a fucking doubt in my mind that i will be able to withdraw ! I know the money is available for me at all times, because IT IS MY MONEY ! I am not going to say “I hope that i'll be able to withdraw” 🤣 It really scares the shit out of me how some people in life are completely delusional… And it seems that many of these people are playing to EU.

That's the message you receive when a Withdrawal is successful…

Do you read the same thing as i am ? Your request has been approved ! Yes you read it right my friend, on EU a withdrawal of your own money is not a right, it's a request and it has to be approved 🤣 The money you invest / place in the game is not yours ! It's their money, and then if you're kind with them… They could allow you to get some of it back 😅 Again… Who could trust MindArk ? Who could think it's better than a real life bank ?

My very first withdrawal was in March 2022, and i came back in EU in September 2021. I didn't want to wait for years to test my first withdraw… That's also what i said on a post on the forum one day, that it should be best practice for every new players to test the withdrawal process as soon as they can. It should be like finding a Mentor, a MUST DO !

Prior to my very first withdrawal i had seen some posts on the community forum…

“They will ask you to justify for withdrawing Peds“
I had seen that sentence and someone else said “Bullshit they don't !” but the second person was a “Yes Man”.

“The support will try to Push you to the fault when withdrawing“
This was a message which was removed by the admin of the forum, i was skeptical but had the time to read it…

By the end of the day, it seems that players in EU are incented to deposit, but discouraged about withdrawing money. As a result many players who were in the game for years, simply didn't want to withdraw… As withdrawing was like the beginning of problems happening to your account.

There have been a few stories from players whose accounts were locked after requesting money… And so basically you have many Veteran players who have a lot of peds, but who will never withdraw them ! They're too scared to even think that they could lose their avatar by requesting their money… So they just use them to continue to play, and willingly decided to forget that… Originally the game was about to be “Paid for Killing Monsters“.

So I didn't want to wait years to see it by myself

• I did a Withdraw of 1000 Peds on the 2nd of January 2022
• On the 9th of March 2022 i got a message from the Technical Support

Hi,Please file a support case regarding the pending withdrawal with ID: 14844355.Kind regards,Jasper | Entropia Universe Support

I was like… What the fuck ? Why do i need to file a support case ?! They know very well it's a SUM of 1000 Peds so not even $100… Less than that ! They also have my Bank Details that i had double and triple checked ! And still they want me to open a support case about it ?!? What the fuck is wrong with you people at MindArk ???

Even French Banks which are known to call you when you're spending too much money (like €3000 or more), have never contacted me for such small amounts ! Yeah i am in 2 French Banks, with enough Money to invest in Entropia Universe like a Planet Partner (200.000€) . But after everything i saw, my original thought of investing was swept away by the lack of communication and trust from MindArk.

I knew why they were contacting me, I fucking knew it and so i was ready to break the bullshit from the start ! I had Russian friends in the game and i made deals with them in Real Life. As you know (or not…) i have skills in the IT domain, it's how i make money in Real Life. And after meeting a few Russians in the game, it happened that i met one guy who needed to build a website in English to target people outside Russia.

His English as a Native Russian was not that good, and besides he didn't know how to build websites. So i suggested my services and he told me he would gift me in Peds for this Real Life work, and it was Okay with me 🤗

So i received large amounts of Peds, several thousands from a few contacts, because i did work for them ! I won't disclose it as i have Ethics, but there wasn't anything wrong about it. Besides on the official community forum, there are people like Xanato a famous player who was publicly asking for the very same service. And he was never sanctioned for that… And there is nothing wrong about offering a service and to be paid in Peds !

Well since the War, To shake the hand of a Russian is to become a Criminal, that's what i call Herd Mentality to its Rotten Core ! I am NOT and will NOT hate a full nation for the actions of a Madman ! I said it on the forum !

So, I Filed a fucking support case and let's be honest… I was ready to be on the defensive !

Why ? because i was expecting a stupid question, because i was expecting them to push me, to accuse me of Money Laundering. But also because too many times i had seen Veteran Players dropping their pants when confronted to MindArk Support, people who were playing for years and who were afraid of losing their accounts ! It was like their fucking virtual avatar was more important than their Pride !

So a fucking stupid question i was expecting… a fucking stupid question i got ! 🙄

Yeah thank you as well for wasting my time !

Who are they ? the Police ? And where do you think i got those Peds from you asshole ?!? From your fucking Entropia Universe ! Okay let's cut the crap… I am not going to answer several questions, i am not playing since Years, i can afford to lose my account, i don't care… so Let's Lance the Boil !

As you might have noticed my Name is not Blurred, i have nothing to hide i am Marc Boucher and i salute you 😎 So now let's get back to the business… It's indeed SCARY if the technical support is asking me to JUSTIFY from where my Peds are coming from ! That means every fucking time I'll do a withdrawal, I'll have to keep a diary of all my trades in and out of the game, to justify why i Won more than i deposited ! 😅

Because it wasn't only about trading with Russians… It was about I won more Peds than i lost…

Of course because i had been gifted with Peds from my Real Life work, so i didn't have to Deposit. The money was from someone else in the game and it became mine… The person would have withdrawn them anyway… Unless MindArk doesn't say everything and forbids some players to withdraw… Thus these players would have no choice but to give their Peds in the game for Real Life services… because otherwise they couldn't withdraw them.

So after my little message above it was Radio Silence for hours…

So i decided to update the support case…

I had nothing to hide so i decided to be Transparent and explain everything.

And yeah i had recently won more than 7600 Peds in 2 Hall of Fame Globals…

Yeah… You got lucky in Entropia Universe ? Too bad… MindArk Support will keep it from you !

Then again it went back to Radio Silence, and it's quite common from MindArk Technical Support. It can stay like that for weeks, months, even years with no one to help you, no one to answer you… And they can do whatever the fuck they want with your money once it's on their side.

So as of the 9th of March 2022, i had stopped launching my account. Despite the fact that i used to connect every day to do my Daily Hunting Missions on Calypso… Entropia Universe is a small addiction i could easily cope with ! I was even grateful that destiny (or Fate ?) led me to find out after just 6 months that playing to EU was wrong.

And then as of the 10th of March in the evening I sent the Technical Support a last message

I didn't expect any positive answer from their side though, and so I accepted the fact that i would maybe never see the color of my 13000 Peds value on my account. But at least i didn't wait for years to find out the ugly truth…

On the 11th of March in the morning I received a new message from MA Support

Okay i had already answered to that… I said i had offered Real Life services to Entropian Players !

But as i had read this on the forum, MindArk Support is trying to Push You to the fault ! They're trying like Cops in an Interrogation Room, to make You amend for Your Sins ! Even if you've done nothing wrong…

Also this sentence to “prevent fraud attempts” is the very same used by Real Life Banks, when they don't like seeing you withdrawing money from your account. It was never about Your Security… Nobody cares about Your security, they care only about the money you invested and that they want to keep ! 😏

So as they asked me the very same question again… i gave them the very same answer 😁

The Cat and Mouse game continued… As i repeat myself, i had no expectations from MindArk Technical Support… I had even stopped playing Entropia Universe since 3 days, and i could certainly continue to live without it. At least now i had the proof that withdrawing from MindArk is a big mess !

You see in EU there is a human factor where everyone is trying to make better deals than their neighbors. It's to those who will be smarter than the rest that fortune will shine upon… So there are many people like me trying to find What are the Entropian Players needs ? And their needs can be either IN or OUT of the game…

That's simply what i did, i found out their needs out of the game, and for my quality of service they gifted me with peds Inside the game. Of course i will never disclose my services in details, as i have worked several years in Military Environments as an IT Analyst, and whatever the services i provided, i have ethics.

But it's not a way liked by MindArk to make money, they don't like it when you don't deposit…

My last message was on Friday the 11th of March 2022

So on Sunday evening i just sent them a little update…

And this is all true, i had not launched the EU executable since this incident started… So when you stop something, despite all the investment you put in it in the past, you start to lose interest ! But i still had money to spend… And so more money for other activities…

No answer… and 50 Business Days later !

I sent them this little message to see if anyone was still alive at MA Support 😏

I knew damn well that in the EULA it was written “approximately 50 Business Days“, but i just wrote that sentence in order to make them react / answer me ! Also on the 16th of March 2022 i used the Live Chat on EU Website. Well i was afraid that my support case had fallen to the bottom of the queue…

So a guy named Loki on the Live Chat told me my Support Case had been forwarded to MindArk, and that basically their Economy Service should be looking at it right now… Understand it was “under investigation” 😏

Exactly 5 minutes after the end of my discussion on the Live Chat…

i received a mail saying my Support Case was now closed ! What ?!? So i connected to my Entropia Universe account right away to understand, then opened the support case and… I saw this new message below 🤗

I wasn't going to jump of Joy because my Withdrawal was still in Pending State. I guess they needed time to send it, but it was already a big step ahead to know that my request to withdraw have met a Satisfactory ending.

On the 18th of March 2022 at 13:34 i received a mail, so exactly 2 days after the last message from MindArk Support saying that my explanations were satisfactory, i got a mail from them titled Withdrawal Committed.

On the 21th of March 2022 by 9pm i checked my account and…

I finally got the money ! So it was originally a Withdrawal of 1000 Peds, and MindArk is always taking a Fee of minimum $10 or 1% of the total amount. I also selected the “Euro” currency, because i knew French Banks were taking “extra fees” if the wire transfer was made in Dollars.

So… i am glad the outcome was satisfactory after all this time, as it took around 54 Business Days !

You know it wasn't about the money, it never been… I just wanted to withdraw to see all the problems that could happen… I was wondering if the Technical Support was going to ask questions and they did ! I was also wondering if the fact that i was offering services in Real Life, and then be gifted with Peds, could sound Suspicious and attract attention, and Yes it did as well ! So at least now i have all the answers to my questions.

The truth is many players have used exploits in the past, received peds from shady users doing money laundry, bought peds from other players at a reduced rate… All kinds of things which are now wrote in stone in the server logs, and will be dug up by MindArk as soon as “they will click the Withdraw button“.

That's why there are many players who never tried to withdraw, and who still don't want to… trying to find all sorts of excuses to justify the fact that “they only play EU for Fun“… which has never been so far from the truth. If it's for Fun you have Tons of Alternatives, you don't need to play EU. You Play to EU because you like to gamble, that's it !

They just don't want their past to be uncovered by MindArk, as it could lead them to more problems.

So they lie to themselves, and forever abandonned the idea of withdrawing their money.
