When i was a kid and playing every day to video games, i remember clearly that i have been very sad when my savegames were lost, corrupted or deleted !

There are 2 video games i recall where i have lost my saves…

1. Bard's Tale the Original version !
   I used to play to it on Commodore 64 with the “infamous Datasette” !! And as it was a very sensitive device, one day due to a bad manipulation from myself, i lost my save game.
2. Phantasy Star 3
   One day my grand brother and I joked about deleting our saves, and we accidentally did !! I was very sad that day because i had invested like weeks in this game 😭

And so since these 2 events, which when you are a little kid – but also a BIG FAT NERD for who video games are your entire life – is quite shocking ! You don't want these things to happen anymore. And that means creating backups of your savegames.

As a matter of fact i got a similar issue in early 2025 with the game Dragon Age the veilguard where my saves got corrupted and i lost 5 good hours of playtime.

The save games you'll find here are all personal ones, i haven't taken them from another website. These are only the results of thousands of hours in front of my computer.

Of course over time i lost many save games, even though i already had completed the games, mainly because at one point in time i had only one backup copy of my saves, and they were on an external hard drive… Which unfortunately died one day !  That's why now i have several external hard drives (more than 70TB) and so many copies 😏

The files below will be all in .ZIP, some are quite big, you can download them for free… That would be very strange to make people pay for that anyway lol… 😅 nobody would do it!!

For your information i am not necessarily providing the paths, where you have to copy paste these files, in order to re-use these savegames. Mostly because i don't even remember these… But i would advise you to try the following paths :

1. C:\Users\”your username“\Documents
2. C:\Users\Default\Saved Games
3. C:\Users\”your username“\Saved Games
4. C:\Users\”your username“\AppData\LocalLow
5. C:\Users\”your username“\AppData\Roaming
6. Also try to search for Steam directories…

Alright so here is the list of save game download i am providing below.

Sometimes i do mention when i didn't kill an optional boss… (too hard or got fed up of trying 😅)

This page has been updated on the 12nd of May 2025, and there are 33 packs of savegames available. Some packs contain more savegames than others, and sometimes you'll find directories called “Batch”. It means only a handful of savegames were allowed by the game, and in order to keep them all i had to create subfolders that i called “Batch”.

Sometimes the most recent save games can even be in a backup directory…
