Entropia Universe Money Refused for helping Refugee

You have to know that between September and November 2024, i have been quite lucky in terms of Hofs !

And prior to that, it happens that i helped 2 persons in Real Life, both playing to EU…

1. The first was a german friend who was relocating from Munich to Berlin
2. The second was a Ukrainian Refugee who needed help and money

I happen to work from time to time – as a volunteer so it's not paid – for a French organization to help Ukrainian families running away from the war. We don't shout this from the rooftops, because there's an ongoing debate about immigration in France, so even if we do it to help, we can't speak openly about it. And we never disclose the identity of these persons are some of them were journalists, and you know well what happen to these people…

As you also know or not… There is a big community of Ukrainians and Russians in Entropia Universe. EU is well known in these 2 countries, and it's not rare to find someone with an account. The result is both these people, my german friend and the Ukrainian refugee had an account on EU. And because i helped them in Real Life, we agreed that they would connect later to their accounts to gift me with peds for my help.

And the very same year but a few months later, as i was saying at the beginning, i got lucky with Hofs ! And this opens another subject on the theory that your earnings in the game are connected with how much deposits you made, or how much peds have been detected by the algorithm on your account, eventually triggering globals / hofs.

Anyway… In the recent 2024 Halloween Mayhem, i got 2 Hofs for a total of 6000 Peds. 😍

And so i decided to click the withdraw button for the 5th time.

Actually i was wondering if they were going to grant me the withdrawal in 44 days only, like they did for my 2 previous withdrawals, or if again they were going to investigate like police officers, why i had received peds for nothing in return. Because i know for certain that MindArk funds are not as high as they want everyone to believe…

And so on the 20th of December 2014 i had my answer… as i received this mail.

So again, i went to the support page and opened a new support case !

The Links to the 2 Mayhem Hofs can be verified below :

This demonstrate that you can be lucky even using non maxed weapons 😎 and also that the money i received from my german friend and the ukrainian refugee in real life, are in no way connected to this withdrawal ! Unless of course you believe in the theory of the peds balance which could influence the triggering of Hofs 😏

So it's showing that i didn't use the money gifted to me, a few months earlier to withdraw it right away. I used these peds to continue my daily hunting, there was no money laundry involved. And between you and me, these sums of peds were like 2000 and 6000, So a total of what ? 800€… We don't call that money laundering ! It's too small…

But for MindArk it seems it's a problem as it messes with their algorithm…

Anyway let's continue… I then received this message from Jasper and answered when i got back from a week-end in Belgium with my little family. If you like good fries, beer and chocolate, Belgium is best country to visit ! 😅

As i said i had nothing to hide… And i remember back in time at the beginning of the War, how MindArk was so proud to announce that they were supporting Ukraine on their official forum 🤣 Doing nothing more than to post a photoshopped picture of an Ukrainian military playing to EU in the trenches… But never ever made withdrawals faster for Ukrainian players, who were in a dire situation and needed their money to flee !!

It's good to say “you support” but acts are better than words, and those from MindArk were just “empty words”.

So after this i received a last message from the support… And strangely during the night. I mean swedish are not known to work that hard at MindArk, so something tells me they're using a service in the United States to investigate. As you can see on the message below, it was no longer Jasper answering and the time was 1:05 am in Europe.

I said the last message, because after this message from the 26th of December 2024 it was Radio Silence!

I tried anyway to wake them up a little with this…

And 2 weeks later with that last message…

But so far no more answers from MindArk…

And actually i have like 400 strongboxes to open in my inventory, i already opened more than a thousand in the past, but it seems they don't want fresh money this time… Their funds are running low, the trust level has never been so low between MindArk and the players, and… they don't want my fresh bucks.

Again… I remember Messi91 on the official forum, saying one day that Entropia Universe was even better than a real life bank… Sorry but i transfer every month 400€ to my ex-wife for my children who are living with her, and my bank NEVER asked me to JUSTIFY why i was transferring these funds every months since years lol…

The only time when my bank called me, it was when i was transferring thousands of euros… Again, EU makes you think small ! Because MindArk think small… They chase casual players like me for mere 100 to 300 bucks!! For fuck's sake… When will MindArk understand that it's better to have 10000 CASUAL PLAYERS, than 100 whales ?!?? If they investigate every casual players as soon as withdrawals don't go their way, they'll scare off new players !

So on the 25th of January 2025 i sent them this LAST Message below…

Because i find their silence insulting, i am a real customer and i am Ignored and treated like a common thief !

Makes me think of PreyNaka, one of the wales of EU… Who was all proud of himself saying that it was because of people like him that the game was still running… Yeah ? well not good on the long run, because whatever the amount of money this guy pours into the game, PreyNaka and the other Whales like him – like John B Knight who loves to create polls on the forum to reassure himself that he is still the Top Nerd in EU 🤣 – won't be eternal.

No answer from MindArk support, it's total radio silence, i am a customer who bought nearly a thousand strongboxes from their webshop, so it's not like i was receiving money from others and then withdrawing it right away, not at all… and still they treat me as a common thief. The support case is open, but they won't answer anymore, they're taking their time… Not even to investigate, but just to test me ! They know there is no money laundry involved.

61 Business days is insulting ! I requested this fucking withdrawal on the 26th of October 2024 !!

They think they can make us wait like “the guy is addicted like all the others, don't worry he is going to pay“.

I am not ! Even if i have played for the past 3 years+, i will not accept to wait eternally, i will lose my level 72 avatar and go on with my life. A company like MindArk should know better how to treat real customers.

To this day still no answer from MindArk, Total fucking Radio silence ! My withdrawal has been made on the 26th of October 2024… I let you do the maths. It also means that they have locked away 300€ of my virtual assets, and they didn't communicate since the 24th of December 2024.

And you want to see more players in Entropia Universe with this outrageous behavior ?

Who is going to join EU after reading that ? People who are not interested in withdrawing money ? But who would be stupid enough to play to a RCE if it's not to touch the withdrawal button ? 🤨

But more than everything… What image does it give from Entropia Universe ?

• A game where every transactions are monitored
• A game where you SHOULD NOT give free money to someone else ! Otherwise you'll be flagged like me as a “Money Laundry suspect”… Because in EU you can't do what you want with the money you deposited.
• A game where they can decide to lock your virtual assets, even if you're a depositor, making you wait for eternity in a radio silence, and at some point when the ticket will be out of the SLA (service level agreement) resolution time, they will close it. And at this time if your ticket was about a withdrawal, they can certainly refuse it, take the penalty fee and say it's because your bank account details were not correct! Even… if everything was right on your side.

Man ! No wonder there are no Fan Festival related to Entropia Universe… In every other mmorpgs out there, people can give whatever the fuck they want to give to other players, without risking being flagged as a bad person. But in EU you are encouraged to NOT GIVE anything for free ! Otherwise the withdrawal button will be forever greyed out!

I continued to do my daily huntings for 2 more weeks with the remaining peds i had on my avatar, and in fact to the day i write this, i still have like 2K+ peds left on my avatar. So that's why if you played to EU recently, you could still see my name Marco Magnifico Schiffano in the daily globals, because of course i still got globals…

But ultimately on the 14th of February 2025 i decided to uninstall Entropia Universe from my system. Actually i also uninstalled Clash Royale from my iPhone 12… Because i think both games were a bad addiction. I guess this was consecutive to reading Tony Robbins book “Awaken the Giant Within”. A great book i recommend to all of you in case you need to severe an addiction bringing more harm than good to your life.

Of course i updated my support case to notify them… 😌

I genuinely think they will need all the money they can muster…

With all the recent withdrawals requested between late 2024 and early 2025, mainly from players who are leaving EU out of disgust, and knowing MindArk don't have the funds to cover every transactions in case there would a massive withdrawal, it's better for them to scam / steal all the money they can from small casual players like me.

Last update as of March 2025 😏 When MindArk showed their true face.

On the 28th of February 2025 i received a notification that i hadn't connected in a while…

No shit… 😅 They should really be careful with these kind of notifications…

So let me see i should…

1. Seek a document titled “MindArk refusing to give me back MY money” … Hmmm… Unfortunately it doesn't exist, so you guys at MindArk really should update your Knowledge base, it's out of date.
2. Contact the Live Sup… Live ? You mean the trainee who is not authorized to divulge any information regarding withdrawals ? Last time i tried, the guy told me my withdrawal was under investigation.

I love this sentence… Under investigation. If it's the Police i understand, and we will certainly receive an answer. But when it's MindArk, the main purpose is to let the time pass and hope the person who asked will never ask again.

So i took a screenshot, uploaded it to my “ghost case” and left a little message as always.

And that's true… Since i had stopped Entropia, i had all the time to complete Demon's Souls and Lies of P ! 😍

Then guess what ? on the 17th of March 2025, i received a mail that my case was closed !

Just to remind you dear reader, I had originally asked for this withdrawal on the 26th of October 2024.

And here is their answer below… No it's not a Joke, it's MindArk.

MindArk is closing my case where…

1. I answered their questions, giving all of the details and players names.
2. Sent no less than 5 messages while THEY were on Radio Silence

And they tell me… That due to Inactivity, they close the case…

• Without resolving anything, as the money is still locked out.
• Asking me to submit a new support case.

Sure… They expect me to open a new support case because they locked out 300 bucks, and wait for another 4 months. Well maybe they're used to that, as i have seen people really desperate on their official forum, who were trying hard to get their money back for more than a year ! Even re-submitting tickets… As if it was normal to do so.

You know what ?

If one day i hear on the news that a Mass Shooting happened at the MindArk headquarters… I don't think i'll be surprised. I'll be sad for the poor souls of course, there are surely good people in this shitty company… But at the same time i think it is so LOW to treat customers like that… I spent 3 years of my life playing to Entropia Universe, even creating a full guide which helped many people, and so in a way… I helped to promote their scam of a game.

And you see the result ? Treated like a low life shit.

Then i was asked to provide a feedback… I did…

My money is still locked out…

But i am not sure my feedback will improve anything in their way of scamming people…

All i can hope now is that new people interested in Entropia Universe will read this before stepping a foot in!

This is the very last post i'll do on Entropia Universe, whatever happens in the future. The people working at MindArk are bad people, and this company doesn't deserve to degrade your sanity. I hope for your sake that you will hear my warning before it's too late for you. There are other virtual entertainments out there far more healthy than Entropia Universe.
